We can be all physically disabled at some time in our lives. A person after an accident with a broken leg, a parent with a pram, an elderly person, etc. are all disabled in one way or another. As far as the built-up environment is concerned, it is important that it should be barrier-free and adapted to fulfill the needs of all people equally.
According to the National technical regulation on Construction for disabled access to buildings and facilities (DABF) published by Ministry of Construction in 2014, these buildings include apartment, public, station, road and other utilities that must be accessible for people with disabilities.
This checklist helps to identify accessibility problems and surport practical suggestion and/or solutions in building environment in order to meet your obligations under the National technical regulation on Construction for disabled access to buildings and facilities (DABF).
